The bride and groom took time out of the busy merriment to enjoy visiting with all of their guests, including the youngest of them all.  As she held the young child, her thoughts moved to the time when she and her new husband would have a precious child of their own, and that made her smile.

In between one of the dances, the groom’s uncle pulled him off to the side and gave him advice on how to be a good husband. Lots of jokes and laughter filled the room. The bride's father decided it was time for their special dance.  As the music filled the hall with their special song, he led his daughter to the dance floor.

As the afternoon progressed, it was then time for the ceremonial removal of the garter.  The groom knelt before his bride as she pulled her gown up only high enough to show a pretty white lace garter. He slowly, teasingly removed the garter with his teeth, as the crowd cheered and encouraged his actions.  He stood up with his prized possession in his teeth. Smiling at all the bachelors that had gathered, he tossed it into the group. The best man caught it and smiled broadly as the rest of the men teased him.

Then the bride tossed her bouquet into the air. There was a scramble of single women to catch the bouquet. “I got it! I got it! excitedly yelled one of the bride’s girlfriends. She held the bouquet close to her, as others teased and envied her catch. A short time later it was time for the bride and groom to leave the party and start on their new life together. As they left the reception, everyone gathered and tossed birdseed, wishing them the best in life. The bride and groom got into their car and drove away into their future.

The bride snuggled up against the groom as he drove.  Upon arrival they walked up to the door of their room. The groom opened the door then gently picked her up in his arms. “I love you”, he said, as he carried her across the threshold. That evening the bride and groom stood looking out of the window at the beautiful sunset. Their minds running to thoughts of the future and their love for each other. He pulled her close to him. She leaned into his arms. The warmth of their bodies together ignited the passions within.

Gently she turned around in his arms and faced him. They looked into each other’s eyes, each glowing with a lover’s vow of eternal love together. Their lips meet in a lover’s warm passionate kiss.
